It aims to build a teacher-led culture of professional excellence to enhance the professional in-service development of PE and sports teachers.

Teachers will be developed in the three main areas of subject knowledge (HEAD), professional practice (HAND), and advocacy and engagement (HEART).

Housed in the interim site at Malan Road, PESTA will be relocated later to the Goh Keng Swee Centre for Education, a new building next to the Education Ministry building at North Buona Vista Drive.
