Police seek the cooperation of rally goers to leave the sites in an orderly and peaceful manner at the end of each election meeting.

Officers will be deployed to monitor the law and order situation closely during the election meetings and Police will not hesitate to take firm action against any person who commits any offence at an election meeting or whose behaviour may lead to public order problems.

Rally goers are encouraged to take the public transport as traffic congestion can be expected at the roads leading to the rally sites during this period.

Motorists travelling within the vicinity of election meetings should be prepared for changes in the traffic conditions which may affect their travelling plans. Motorists are also advised to tune in to the radio for updates on the latest traffic situation.

Election meeting organisers are also reminded to strictly comply with the conditions and restrictions on election meetings stated under the Public Order (Election Meetings) Regulations 2009 before, during and after the election meetings.
