SIA appoints CEO for new low-fare airline

Singapore Airlines (SIA) yesterday named Mr Campbell Wilson (picture) as the chief executive of its new low-fare airline, which will be plying medium- and long-haul routes.

SIA had announced in May that the airline will be up and running within 12 months.

The as-yet unnamed "no-frills" airline will be wholly-owned but operated independently and managed separately.
