
The Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) on Monday said that radioactive contaminants were detected in a sample of cabbage during tests performed on an April 2 shipment.
In particular, traces of Iodine-131, Cesium-134 and Cesium-137 were found.
Monday's suspension brings to a total 11 prefectures in Japan from which radioactive contaminants have been detected in food produce.
