A Nanyang Technological University (NTU) student was hit by a van on campus Friday morning.
According to a passerby, the student was a resident from NTU's Hall of Residence 10.
He was crossing the road to catch the internal shuttle service when he was hit.Click on thumbnails to view media
The impact shattered the van's windscreen, and the student was left unconcious and bleeding on the road.
A person in charge of the hall came running out shortly after, asking who was hit, STOMP reported.
Said a witness: "The van involved in the accident is a Malaysian-registered vehicle... paramedics put a neck brace on the student before bringing him to hospital."
