600 needy families receive food hampers

SINGAPORE : The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has collaborated with the North East Community Development Council to hand out S$23,000 worth of food hampers to 600 needy families in Aljunied.

Each family received a hamper that included items such as canned foods, basic sauces and rice.

It is the first time that ACCA is working together with grassroots organisations to give back to the community.
