St James' manager jailed for 2nd drink-drive offence

On Sep 16 last year, Stephen Davis, 27-year-old, then a senior executive at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), was stopped at a police checkpoint at about 1am and subjected to a breath test.

He failed and was placed under arrest.

A subsequent test at the Traffic Police department in Ubi revealed 46mcg of alcohol in every 100mL of his breath. The prescribed limit is only 35mcg.

Stephen Davis, who currently works as a marketing manager at St James Holdings, was jailed five weeks and fined $4,600 for his second drink-drive offence.

Also, since he was driving his mother's car without a licence, it automatically invalidates the third-party insurance coverage for the car.
