S'pore Navy welcomes new chief

SINGAPORE: The Singapore Navy welcomed its new chief on Tuesday.

Rear-Admiral (RADM) Ng Chee Peng takes over from Rear-Admiral Chew Men Leong.

Rear-Admiral Ng joined the Singapore Armed Forces in 1988. He was a President's Scholar and has held several posts, including Chief of Staff - Joint Staff and Chief of Staff - Naval Staff. Rear-Admiral Ng was also the Navy's Fleet Commander and Director of Policy in the Defence Ministry.
