Apple's iPad 2 available in Singapore in April

Gadget lovers here won't have to wait long for Apple's latest iPad - it is slated to be available here next month.

Apple announced that the iPad 2 would be available in Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore in April.

The iPad is already on sale in the United States and will be available in another 25 countries this Friday. These include countries like Australia, Iceland, New Zealand and the UK.

It was earlier reported that Apple had delayed the launch of its latest tablet computer in Japan, following the earthquake and tsunami incidents that have affected the country.
