AS THE chaos from the nuclear reactors escalates and as snow falls upon crippled Sendai, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday released a statement urging Singaporeans to leave.
However in their statement, it was revealed that 20 Singaporeans had decided to stay on.
It added that the Singapore Embassy in Tokyo had made arrangements for Singaporeans living within 80km to 100km from the nuclear plant to leave for safer locations.

Sendai is not within the current 20km exclusion zone established by Japanese authorities.
