Ms Loh Nyuk Moi had four stab wounds on her chest when her family members found her lifeless body in the kitchen at her former home.
"Whatever she had was missing; items like her purse, her IC and cash," her brother-in-law, who declined to give his name, said.
Police were alerted at around 9am and she was pronounced dead about 20 minutes later.
They have classified the case as murder.
