S'pore home rents third most expensive in Asia: ECA

Singapore is the third most expensive location in Asia to live in, according to the latest accommodation report from consultancy firm ECA international.

ECA is a solutions provider for companies placing their staff overseas. Its accommodation report concentrates on the areas and types of accommodation commonly inhabited by international assignees.

The report, which compares the rental rates in over 120 locations worldwide, ranked Tokyo and Hong Kong as the region's top two most expensive places to reside in. Seoul placed fourth, while Shanghai was fifth.
