Football: Two Singapore players face FIFA ban

Last week, Shahril Ishak and Baihakki Khaizan reportedly signed contracts worth nearly S$400,000 each, with the Indonesian Premier League, which is not recognised by the world governing body, FIFA.

FAS president Zainudin Nordin said depending on FIFA's ruling, Shahril and Baihakki may find themselves disqualified from playing for Singapore and possibly FIFA-sanctioned leagues for a significant period of time.
