A provisional solution for agents - CEA

SINGAPORE - The Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) is granting provisional licences to estate agents and salespersons whose applications have yet to be approved, including 125 agents whose applications the CEA had lost.

Agents still waiting to get their licences approved can now continue with their real estate agency work for the month of January.

In all, 813 property agents and 110 estate agencies are affected.

Last night, CEA apologised to the 125 agents over the misplaced forms. By the middle of this week, those affected will be able to view their updated status on CEA's Public Register.
