Here are a few worth mentioning. Go HERE for the full list.GOING UP...
1) Luis Suarez (Uruguay)
Age: 24. Club: Ajax. Position: Foward
Value before the World Cup: £15m. After the World Cup: £25m
Four goals in a sensational tournament for his country has marked the Ajax striker down as one of the most fearsome in world football. Chelsea have already been watching the 23-year-old marksman for months. Juventus, Spurs and a whole host of others are after him. And after his intervention against Ghana, we know he can play as an emergency keeper too.
5) Per Mertesacker (Germany)
Age: 25. Club: Werder Bremen. Position: Central Defender
Value before the World Cup: £10m. After the World Cup: £15m
Arsenal are understood to be keen on the 6ft 5in Werder Bremen defender but his efforts in helping an impressive Germany side into the semi-finals will have attracted even more suitors.
6) Mesut Ozil (Germany)
Age: 21. Club: Werder Bremen. Position: Attacking midfielder
Value before the World Cup: £7.5million. After the World Cup £20million
Has just a year left on the contract he signed at Werder Bremen in 2008. Manchester United courted the Turkish-born midfielder as a teenager. Following his outstanding performances for Germany they will find he costs a small fortune. Arsenal are said to be keen.
8) Douglas Maicon (Brazil)
Age: 28. Club: Inter Milan. Position: Right back
Value before the World Cup: £20m. After the World Cup: £35m
Real Madrid had already registered their interest in a player who lifted an unprecedented treble at Inter Milan last season before the World Cup began. Maicon, 28, has gone on to be superb for Brazil in South Africa in attack as well as defence. And Inter have gone on record as saying the full-back will not be released for less than a staggering £35m. Manchester City are still keen though.
10) Keisuke Honda (Japan)
Age: 24. Club: CSKA Moscow. Position: Midfielder
Value before the World Cup: £3m. After the World Cup: £7.5m
A revelation at this World Cup, sparking the interest of Liverpool and Spurs. Arsene Wenger has described the Japan midfielder as a genius. Honda only signed for CSKA last December but bigger clubs have sat up to take notice after his two goals, one assist and overall intelligent play.

2) Felipe Melo (Brazil)
Age: 26. Club: Juventus. Position: Midfielder
Value before the World Cup: £20m. After the World Cup: £10m
Arsenal like him and Inter Milan are lurking but the man who said he would keep his discipline at the World Cup failed completely to do that in South Africa. He scored an own goal and got himself sent off against Holland in the quarter-finals to end his country’s hopes. Given that he has struggled since his £20m move to Juventus from Fiorentina last summer, he could now be set for a cut-price transfer.
3) Steven Pienaar (South Africa)
Age: 28. Club: Everton. Position: Midfielder
Value before the World Cup: £10m. After the World Cup: £8m
Maybe his contract wrangles at Everton contributed to his disappointing performances but he produced little of the stunning form which has drawn so many admirers in the Premier League.
6) Yakubu (Nigeria)
Age: 27. Club: Everton. Position: Forward
Value before the World Cup: £10m. After the World Cup: £7m
Before the World Cup Everton insisted they would not accept less than £10million from West Ham for the Nigerian striker. Yakubu, however, has gone on to have a shocker at the World Cup with his miss of the century from two yards against South Korea summing up his tournament. A ¬£7million valuation is being kind for a lazy player.
7) Roque Santa Cruz (Paraguay)
Age: 28. Club: Manchester City. Position: Striker
Value before the World Cup: £10m. After the World Cup: £7.5m
The Paraguay marksman has spoken of his pride in his country’s displays but his own personal performances haven’t set the world alight.
11) Gareth Barry (England)
Age: 26. Club: Manchester City/ Position: Midfielder
Value before the World Cup: £12m. After the World Cup: £6m
Barry was one of many major disappointments in the England World Cup squad and now faces intense competition to keep his place at Eastlands following the signing of Barcelona squad player Yaya Toure.
