Police Corporal charged with asking for sexual favours and taking bribes

Ng Wan Fu, Ivan, a Volunteer Special Constabulary (VSC) Police corporal faces three charges of allegedly asking sexual favours from three female Chinese nationals between May and December 2007 so as to not arrest them on suspicion of prostitution.

The 26-year-old, who is attached to the Marine Parade Neighbourhood Police Centre, also faces an additional charge of allegedy receiving $108 from another female Chinese national as a reward for providing information on a police raid.

He was charged yesterday. If convicted, he can be jailed up to five years or fined up to $100,000. MORE
