iPad on sale by Friday

Apple said the touchscreen multi-media device will be available in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore on Friday.

According to HardwareZone.com, the WiFi model will cost $728 for the 16GB model, $878 for the 32GB model, $1028 for the 64GB model. The WiFi + 3G model will cost $928 for the 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G model, $1078 for the 32GB Wi-Fi + 3G model and $1228 for the 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G model.

HardwareZone.com also noted that it was still waiting for information from Singapore telcos regarding their prices for iPad plans for 3G data. MORE
