107 arrested in two-day anti-crime blitz

107 people have been arrested in a two-day anti-crime blitz.

The suspects comprised males and females aged between 17 and 61. They were arrested in Geylang, Joo Chiat and HarbourFront.

The joint operation targeted various offences, ranging from commercial crimes to drugs, gang-related activities and peddling of contraband cigarettes.

The joint operation, led by the Criminal Investigation Department, was supported by officers from the Central Narcotics Bureau, Health Sciences Authority and Singapore Customs.
