Biker taking shelter from rain killed in horror crash

STOMPer terrifiedrider was horrified to read in The New Paper that a motorcyclist was killed, crushed by his own bike, when he was taking shelter from the rain under a flyover on the TPE at Punggol.

"Apparently Mr Ganesh and a friend were just 1km from a designated shelter for motorcyclists - which is safer because it has metal barriers surrounding it... .

"... I hope that authorities will be able to build such protected sheltered areas for motorcyclists on all major roads, and ensure that there are informative signs that point us to them - the victim and his friend weren't aware there was one so near to where they were..." MORE
